We invite you to participate in the Trauma Debriefing & Counselling + SAPS VEP Standardised Basic Training program. This introductory training aims to equip you with the essential knowledge and skills to effectively support and empower victims of crime and / traumatic events.
During this training program, you will gain a thorough understanding of trauma debriefing and counseling techniques. The curriculum will cover topics such as providing emotional support, trauma-informed care, crisis intervention strategies, victim rights, and referral processes. The knowledge and skills acquired in this training will enable you to better assist individuals who have experienced traumatic events.
Experienced trainers will guide you through interactive sessions, case studies, and practical exercises. The training will be highly engaging and tailored to meet the specific needs of SAPS officers involved in victim empowerment. Beneficial for CPF Patrollers, First Responders & SAPS VEP Volunteers in understanding Trauma Teams and Trauma Support Approach.
